Health Benefits of Almonds


Almonds are the best option you can make when it comes to nuts. You can put them in anything and you can even make almond butter by just throwing them in the food processor and letting them go until they become a paste. I throw it in smoothies, oatmeal, cereal, bars, salads, rice, casseroles, ANYTHING, PEOPLE!!!

-They are amazing for your heart because they're high in monounsaturated fats
-They have vitamin E, an antioxidant
-In just a 1/4 cup of almonds, there are 99mg of magnesium (24.7% of your daily value) which improve blood flow and 257mg of potassium which helps with blood pressure
-Helps against diabetes because it is a low-glycemix index food.
-It can help you lose weight because it keeps you full
-Protein-packed
-May help prevent gallstones
-They are also packed with omega-3's
